Sir – Your headline No opposition to A34 change (October 8) is misleading.
There may well be benefits to be derived from a change to the layout of the junction at Abingdon North Lodge Hill, but increasing access to the junction potentially increases the current levels of rat running through small villages such as Sunningwell and Bayworth.
Any change should only be made after thorough traffic studies and consultation of all residents potentially impacted — not just those represented by district councillor Morgan.
