A man has been charged with an attempted murder in Banbury.
Jamal Jaber Coleman, 24, of Evenlode Close, Bicester, has been charged with the attempted murder of a man on Saturday, October 10.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear before Banbury Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
Police were called to Pepper Alley, near the Chicago Rock Café in Broad Street, to reports a man had been assaulted. The man, aged 28, received stab wounds. He remains in a stable condition in hospital.
Two men, aged 27 and 23, have been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
A 24-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit GBH. A 26-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
They have all been released on police bail.
