A teenage boy has been charged with two robberies in Didcot.
The 16-year-old, who is too young to name, is accused of robberies in Cow Lane underpass, on the Ladygrove Estate, on August 3 when an 18-year-old man was threatened with a knife and had his mobile phone stolen and an attack and theft of a watch from a 27-year-old man on August 21.
He has been released on bail to appear at Oxford Youth Court on November 4.
The charge follows a series of robberies in Didcot in August and September.
Another 16-year-old boy is due to be sentenced at Didcot Magistrates’ Court tomorrow after pleading guilty to a robbery and theft on September 1 in Newlands Avenue, Didcot.
A third 16-year-old boy remains on bail in relation to a robbery on July 26 at the underpass when a man’s jaw was broken.
Det Con Rachel Carter said: “We will not tolerate this type or crime and will continue to pursue every line of inquiry until we bring whoever is responsible to justice.”
