Police today appealed for witnesses after a man was robbed in Oxford.
At about 4.10am on Saturday, a 20-year-old man was dropped off by a taxi in Cavell Road, when three black men came up to him and assaulted him, before stealing his wallet and Blackberry.
Det Sgt Matt Jarman said: “The man was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital to be checked out but fortunately he wasn’t seriously injured.
“I appeal to anyone who saw any suspicious activity to contact me.”
