Summertown United looked to be cruising in this game when they were 2-0 up after just 15 minutes from two very well-taken goals scored by Aidan Bradley. Both goals came from some fine passing moves. Undeterred Cholsey kept going and were rewarded just before half time with a goal scored following a made goalmouth scramble with the Summertown defence at sixes and sevens.
In the second half Cholsey resisted the constant Summertown pressure and scored twice on the break to take the lead. Summertown continued to pressure and were possibly fortunate to be given a penalty in the dying minutes of the game when Aidan Bradley was brought down in the box. George Caddick converted the penalty and the game finished 3-3.
Summertown scorers: Aidan Bradley (2), George Caddick Cholsey scorers: Tom Hale (2), Will Barber
