Police are appealing for a driver who did not stop at the scene of an accident to step forward.
A white Ford Fiesta, travelling towards Long Wittenham, and a black Ford Escort, travelling towards Brightwell-cum-Sotwell, collided on Sires Hill, Long Wittenham, near Abingdon on Saturday at about 4.30pm.
The Fiesta left the road and ended up on its side in a ditch. The Escort did not stop at the scene.
The driver and passenger of the Fiesta suffered cuts and bruises and a back injury and were taken by ambulance to the John Radcliffe Hospital.
They were discharged from hospital that evening.
Pc Ed Crofts, of Abingdon roads policing department, said: “I am very keen to speak to the driver of the Escort and would urge them to come forward to give their version of events.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision, saw the cars in the area beforehand, or who knows the identity of the driver of the Escort.”
Anyone with information should contact Pc Crofts on 0845 850 5505 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
