A man who stabbed his partner three times has been found guilty by a jury at Oxford Crown Court of grievous bodily harm with intent.
Benjamin Thompson, 26, was found not guilty of attempting to murder Harriet de Raeve, 22, at the home they shared in Hurst Street in April.
The jury deliberated for 15 hours over the course of two-and-a-half days before reaching their majority verdict this morning.
Thomspon has been remanded in custody.
During the trial the jury was told Ms de Raeve suffered three stab wounds and a 6in knife was embedded in her chest.
Thompson claimed he was stabbed in the stomach first by Ms de Raeve.
