a. Questions had been asked as to why the season had not started a week later as the schools had only just returned and many would still be on holiday. This was not a major problem has those teams that had asked for a later start had been granted one and we only lost 15 games out of the 95 scheduled.
b. Results service working well-so far. First week-one result missing. Second week-none missing. Please keep it going.
c. Missing goal scorers: First week 30, Second week 8. Well done to all clubs – but we can improve.
d. We are well down on match reports. Need these to increase for Oxford Mail to keep us our four pages. So if you are unable to get your head around the new web site match reports can be e-mailed to Paul who will upload them.
e. Reminder of rule 10.F about calling games off during school holidays-21 days notice is required.
f. Several Clubs are failing to put their name in the space on the match card-From October you will get fined.
g. Reminder that U9 games are to be played on Saturday with a morning KO. This can only be changed with the agreement of BOTH clubs.
6. Referees
a. Receiving many more reports for marking referees <60. No problem with this but please keep them constructive. Do not mark a referee low just because he fails to give you a penalty or a free kick. Only the manager should supply the report-not a parent.
b. If Clubs change the KO time then must have at least 7 days notice.
c. Have removed a referee from list for twice failing to turn up to matches.
