Police are appealing for information and urging people to be vigilant after a recent spate of burglaries in the south Oxfordshire area.
Between 6pm and 8pm on Monday, burglars broke into a property in Northfield Avenue in Lower Shiplake. They broke a small pane of glass and stole a games console and a laptop.
Between 4pm on Saturday and 1.15pm on Sunday, burglars forced open a rear ground-floor window at a property in Peppard Common and stole a Rolex watch and a Vauxhall Astra which was parked on the drive.
A house was also broken into in Toker’s Green in Kidmore End on Saturday evening. At about 2am on Sunday, a house was broken into in Baskerville Road, Sonning Common, where the offenders smashed a garage window. Two men wearing hooded tops were seen running away. Nothing was stolen from either properties.
Between 9am and 9.50am on October 8burglars forced their way into a house in Churchill Crescent in Sonning Common and stolen a Sony Bravia television and some computer equipment.
Det Con Georgina Bradley said: “I urge anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area to contact me."
