Rubens Barrichello has revealed he is in talks over a possible switch to the Williams team at Grove for the 2010 Formula One season.
The veteran Brazilian is out of contract at Brawn GP at the end of this year and has been linked with a move away from the Brackley-based outfit.
"I haven't signed with anybody yet," Barrichello said in quotes reported by The Guardian. "But it's true that I'm talking with Williams and Brawn."
Barrichello, who made his F1 debut in 1993, is the most experienced driver in grand prix history having started 286 races.
The 37-year-old has won two races this year and lies 14 points behind Brawn team-mate Jenson Button heading into the penultimate round of the season in his homeland this weekend.
