Bankers will be in the firing line at a special business breakfast event.
The Federation of Small Businesses with the support of Institute of Directors and the Oxfordshire Town Chambers Network have arranged a "question time" session with representatives from high street banks.
Guests will hear what the banks are doing to help businesses looking to expand their activities. Following the breakfast there will be a business exhibition and one-to-one surgery with law and accountancy firms.
Barry Wheatley, chairman of the Oxfordshire Branch of the FSB, said: "The meeting should be a real opportunity for local businesses to hear not only the prospects for the rest of 2009 and the beginning of 2010 but also about the areas each bank is interested in and to compare the offers that they are making."
The event is being held at the Kassam Stadium, Grenoble Road, Oxford OX4 4XP on October 16 from 8am.
Tickets costs £7.50.
