A MAN was mugged at knifepoint in the second of two robberies within five days in Headington, Oxford.
The 20-year-old was approached by three men, aged between 17 and 22, in Headington Hill at 1am today and threatened with a knife.
After the robbers took cash from his wallet, they ran off into Headington Hill Park.
All three were wearing dark hooded tops. The man carrying the knife was white and the other two attackers were black. One was wearing a silver chain bracelet. The robbery followed an incident between 9pm and 9.30pm on Friday when an 18-year-old had his wallet stolen after taking out money from the NatWest Bank.
One offender, who was described as black, 6ft 2in tall, of medium build, and wearing a dark baggy coat with the hood up, ran away up Stephen Road with the money, discarding the wallet.
Dc Josephine Craig said police were keeping an open mind as to whether the incidents were linked.
