Goal Scorers: Didcot - Ben Payne, Kidlington – Ryan Hughes Match Report: A competitive match between two of the league’s draw specialists. Kidlington had the better of the first half, with Ryan Hughes scoring from a long range shot. However, some strong challenges by Jordan Mordey and excellent goal keeping by Jonathan helped to keep the score at 1-0 at half time.
The Didcot mid-field rose to the challenge after the break and put together a number of excellent passing moves to create chances of their own. In the end a goal mouth scramble resulted in an equaliser for Didcot as Ben Payne forced the ball home. Both sides could have added to their tallies, but a number of shots narrowly missed the target and some fine tracking back by Didcot’s wide players made sure that Kidlington did not regain the lead.
