The gathered crowd where treated to a good game of football by two sides currently battling at the top of the table. Both sides had their chances but it was stalemate in the first half. The second half again saw end-to-end stuff but it was Kidlington who went in front with Marley Thomas scoring at the near post. With only a slim lead Kidlington’s defence soaked up a lot of pressure from the home side looking for that equaliser. However, it was not to be and late on Julius Muraga, Kidlington’s centre forward, extended the visitor’s lead and sealed the points.
