A lovely sunny day brought the crowds out to see a great game of football, where the result could have gone either way. Both teams starting brightly, although Kidlington had the better chances early on. Before long, it was 1 -0 to Kidlington. The goal came from a long shot from Ryan Hughes, the ball rolling along the floor, and through the goalies legs, to just dribble over the line.
Kidlington continued to attack up to half time. The 2nd half saw Didcot fighting back, and it was not long before they equalized. A claim for hand ball, saw the kidlington defence freeze, whilst Didcot played to the whistle and poked the ball home. The rest of the match was pretty even, with both teams unable to score the winner. A fair result.
The friendly saw Kidlington win 12 - 0 with Matthew Comley getting a hat trick.
