Tragic teenager Natalie Morton died from a malignant tumour in her chest in a complication unconnected with a cervical cancer jab, an inquest has been told today.

The news comes after the Oxford Mail revealed that some schools in Oxford had postponed planned immunisation programmes in the wake of the tragedy.

Oxford High School was one of the schools to scrap its jab programme yesterday.

Some 400 girls had due to been vaccinated, but after discussing the issue with Oxfordshire Primary Care Trust, staff, parents and the school doctor, the programme was suspended pending the outcome of a post mortem.
