Ever wondered what that white stuff falling from the sky close to Didcot Power Station is?
It’s snow. No, seriously.
Weather boffin Dr Curtis Wood claimed particles contained in gases from the power station cause freezing fog to solidify into snow, leading to random flurries.
A new study showed snow fell around the power station when the rest of the area stayed dry.
It’s the result of a very bizarre microclimate, apparently.
We suspect a few people might rush to the bookies to bet on there being a white Christmas — at a very specific part of the railway town.
