A teenager was sexually assaulted in a late night attack in Headington.
Police said the 18-year-old was at the corner of Old Road and Roosevelt Drive, near Gipsy Lane, at around 3am yesterday when she was approached by a man and assaulted.
Det Sgt John Linsdell, of Oxford CID, said: “We are in the early stages of our investigation and are trying to establish the full circumstances surrounding what has happened.
“There were plenty of people around at the time and I appeal to anyone who may have been in the area and have information to help with my investigation, to contact police immediately.”
