After reading the article on Thames Valley Police shooting a call centre worker (Mail, September 25) it highlights once again the incompetence and inefficiency of the Thames Valley Police.
It is not at all surprising that they are one of the worst performing police forces in the whole country.
They should be ashamed and embarrassed.
I expect the officer concerned will not be prosecuted or he will just get a small fine.
If this was a member of the public they would probably receive a prison sentence.
The fact that it was a police officer is indeed an aggravating factor – as he is meant to be a professional and set an example to the public!
Perhaps the Chief Constable should address this and the many other issues of why they are one of the worst performing police forces in the country, and explain why they provide such a poor service to the local community and tax payer.
