Police are appealing for witnesses after £12,400 worth of diesel was stolen from a business in Radley.
Thieves gained entry to the yard of J Curtis and Sons Ltd, in Thrupp Lane, some time between Saturday evening and Monday morning, where they syphoned the diesel from a storage tank in the yard.
Sgt Kevin Hickman said: “We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area over the weekend and saw anyone acting suspiciously or any suspicious vehicles.
“This area is popular with walkers and someone may have seen the thieves before or after the break-in.”
Anyone with information should contact Sgt Hickman via the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505, or alternatively you can contact the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
