Two men have been charged with burglary as part of Operation Breaker.
Lester McCalla, 31, of Freelands Road, Oxford, has been charged in connection a burglary which took place in Cowley Road, shortly after midnight on Saturday, September 19.
He appeared before Oxford Magistrates’ Court yesterday and has been remanded to return to the court on October 1.
Peter Gaughan, 25, of Falcon Close, Blackbird Leys, has been charged with carrying out burglaries in Oxford Road, Littlemore, on Tuesday, September 22, and Partridge Walk, Blackbird Leys, on Thursday, September 24.
He appeared before Oxford Magistrates Court yesterday and has been remanded to return to the court on October 2.
Operation Breaker is a force-wide campaign aimed at reducing the number of burglaries across the Thames Valley area.
