BURGLARS stole tyres worth more than £100,000 in a raid on a Kidlington warehouse.
Police yesterday appealed for information about the break-in at Schedl Automotives System Service, in Oxonian Park, at Langford Locks, between 12.10am and 1.50am on Sunday.
The thieves escaped with 15,000 tyres, worth about £105,000.
Detectives believe the gang must have used a number of vehicles to carry out the raid.
Det Sgt Stephen Haddock said: “I believe that these theives could be a professional team, as the theft of so many tyres would have had to have been an organised operation.
“There were three vehicles seen in the area at the time: a car, a curtain-sided lorry and a Target Rental van.
“Anyone who might have seen these vehicles should call me on 08458 505505.”
