In brilliant sunshine and with excellent support for all, Sharks ran out 4-0 winners against Appleton Stars. The first half ended goalless due to fine defending for the home side from Alex Northover & Tate Mclean and a superb display of shot stoppping from the Appleton keeper.
Playing down the hill in the second half the Sharks started to get on top and were rewarded when Dany Ziada finished a long ball through the middle. Ziada then made it 2-0 rounding the keeper to score. Strong defending and further good saves form the Appleton goalie looked to have finished the scoring. However in the final minutes Sydney Njoroge flashed a shot in from the edge of the box. Then Headington man of the match Lewis Bowyer finished a flowing move with a low shot into the corner.
A great game played in really good spirit by everyone.
