Tower are enjoying life in the OMBL and with six different goal scorers the team are in fine form.
Jacob Hughes was definitely in goal scoring mood and scored his first of four after five minutes with a good run and finish to make it 1-0. He then finished off a typical Tower move with some lovely football from defence to attack with his second, then completed his hat-trick but his best goal was still to come. His fourth goal was a cracker which flew into the net from just outside the box. Henley were finding it hard to contain Tower but Sam Pocock in the Henley goal was impressive with some excellent diving saves. Tower made it 5-0 at half time with Yassin Elouahabi scoring his first of two.
Credit must go to Henley who kept fighting and at no stage did their heads go down and could have scored themselves with a fine free kick that just skimmed the post.
Josh Lathey then made it 6-0 and luck was definitely not on Henley's side as Jamie Harris put a fine cross in which deflected in off the unfortunate defender to make it seven. Henley kept trying to go forward and another fine effort was saved by Owen Churchill in the Tower goal. Yassin Elouahabi then made it eight with his second and Adam Moore scored his second of the season as he rose to head in number 9. Daniel Bullock then kept his goal tally going with number 10.
Henley were very unlucky to play Tower Hill in such excellent form but played their part in a very entertaining game.
