Hinksey Park took the game to the Saints today, with a slick move down the wing allowing Jacob Hitchcock to score for Hinksey early in the first half.
Marston looked to reply quickly but where frustrated by Hinskey's excellent defence.After many goal line scrambles Marston finally broke the deadlock with a goal from James Strange who smashed in a rebounded shot just before half time.
With the score level it was all to play for in the second half,the Saints stepped up a gear but Hinksey defence was solid, Hinksey always looked dangerous on the break,working Marston defenders hard.
Something special had to happen to win the game and that came in the form of Ethan Waite,Following his reintrodction to the game an exquiste volley from outside the box sealed the game for Saints.Marston almost scored a third with Josh Josephs taking the ball round the keeper all he had to do was slot it home,but Hinksey defence got there first!
