A man had to be removed by police from railway lines in Oxford this evening.
The force helicopter helped in the search shortly after 6pm following reports a man was trespassing on the lines south of Oxford railway station.
Thames Valley Police spokesman Rebecca Webber said a man was subsequently picked up by British Transport Police but was unable to say whether he had been arrested.
No-one from British Transport Police was available for comment.
