A building firm has snapped up a half-acre site at Ventura Park in Carterton. Walkplace, which will shortly be celebrating its 25th anniversary, will use the site to build a new office and compound for the business.
Spokesman Frank Davey said: “We saw the opportunity to buy this land and provide a purpose-built facility for our business.
“The existing commercial buildings in the area were not suitable for us, and Ventura Park gave us the chance to build what we needed within an impressive business park environment.”
The company has undertaken a range of projects, from domestic extensions to new educational and commercial buildings, including clients such as local schools, Oxfordshire County Council and Oxford City Council.
Ventura Park offers serviced commercial building plots, and of the 12 original plots, only two remain.
Plot E (0.62 acres) is £217,000 and Plot L (1.102 acres) is £385,000, exclusive of VAT. Details are available from the selling agents, Meeson Williams, on 01865 349011.
