THESE pupils had been chosen to act as guides on a nature trail at Blenheim Park at Woodstock.
So it was important they knew all the different landmarks.
Mr EJ Ednams is seen above pointing out some of the interesting trees and bushes to the guides, all pupils at Marlborough School, Woodstock, and Woodstock Primary School, in May 1970.
A few days later, they would have to impart their knowledge to children from a range of schools who would be taking part in walks along the nature trail.
