Traffic is being forced to queue on Oxford’s ring road this morning after traffic lights failed in Cowley.
The lights failure at the Horspath Driftway junction with the Eastern bypass is causing congestion in both directions on the bypass, with traffic tailing back to the Littlemore roundabout.
A lorry has spilled fuel on the southbound carriageway of the M40 causing drivers to go slow between junction 11 for Banbury and junction 10 at Ardley.
Two lanes are closed and a speed limit of 50mph has been imposed.
In Blewbury near Didcot, there are delays on the A417 London Road between Blewbury and Aston Tirrold, following an accident involving two cars.
It is not yet known if any drivers have been injured in the incidents on the M40 and A417.
