Two people have been injured after a light aircraft crashed in Caversfield in Bicester.
The Auster plane came down near to Buckingham Road at about 2.30pm on Saturday, a police spokesman said.
The pilot, who was in his 50s, was airlifted to the John Radcliffe hospital with serious injuries and a second man who was described as ‘walking wounded’ was taken to the John Radcliffe by ambulance with non life threatening leg injuries.
Thames Valley Police said it was currently recovering the aircraft.
