Police are warning people to be vigilant after a series of burglaries in the south of Oxfordshire.
There have been 11 burglaries in the past month where thieves have smashed windows to gain access to homes. It is believed all of these burglaries have taken place during the day.
The following is a list of the burglaries being connected by officers:
September 15 — Lower Road, Postcombe. The owner of the house was disturbed by the burglar and came downstairs to see someone making off in a red van.
September 14 — Church Road, Sandford on Thames. Thieves stole a TV, camera, suit case and an iPod.
September 12— Elms Drive, Garsington. Thieves stole a mobile phone, cash, keys and a camera. In this instance it is thought the thieves may have gained access through an insecure door.
Between September 8 and September 10 — Church Road, Wheatley. Thieves stole jewellery and a passport.
August 30– Pound Lane, Stanton St John. Thieves stole jewellery and camcorder.
August 30 — Cuxham Road (B480), Watlington. Thieves stole jewellery.
August 28 — French Laurence Way, Chalgrove. Money and a substantial amount of jewellery was stolen.
August 20 — Hill Road, Lewknor, Watlington. Jewellery was stolen.
August 19 — Atcombe Road, Watlington. Thieves stole jewellery and silver.
August 12— Thame Road, Great Milton. A quantity of jewellery was stolen.
August 7 — Arnold Way, Thame. A number of electrical items were stolen, including iPods, a laptop, credit and debit cards and cash.
PC Ian D’angeli said: “We would urge people to take precautions and always ensure their properties are as secure as possible when they are out.
"I would also ask people to be vigilant if they see anyone acting suspiciously in these areas, or any vehicles. If you feel that someone is acting strangely, then do not hesitate to contact the police via the Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505. If a crime is in progress, call 999.
“I would like to speak to anyone who has any information in regards to these burglaries.
“As part of the on-going Operation Breaker, we are determined to crackdown on this type of offence and will not tolerate this type of criminal behaviour.”
