Ambulance staff are this morning dealing with a four-car accident on the A34 north of Oxford.

Paramedics were called to the southbound carriageway near the Peartree interchange at 8.45am.

A spokesman for South Central Ambulance said: “Our crew has just arrived at the scene and we don’t have any further information at the moment.”

Both lanes of the southbound carriageway have been blocked by the crash, causing tailbacks.
