A man was robbed of £400 after being slashed with a knife in Bicester.
The 32-year-old man was attacked as he walked along the footpath behind Langford Village Community Primary School in Peregrine Way, at 7.15pm last night.
He was confronted by two men, one of whom was carrying a Stanley knife.
The knifeman threatened the victim, demanding he hand over his property.
PC Adam Taylor said: “The man refused and a struggled occurred that resulted in him being slashed with the knife twice, receiving cuts to the elbow and shoulder.
“The man then handed over his mobile phone, watch and over £400 in cash.
“The two robbers have been described as having eastern European accents.
"The man who was holding the knife was in his late-thirties, about 6ft tall, large build. He has wavy, dark hair and was wearing a dark blue puffa jacket.
“The second man is also in his late-thirties, slightly shorter than the first man and with black hair. He was wearing a distinctive orange puffa jacket.”
Anyone with information should contact PC Taylor via the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505, or speak to the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
