Police are appealing for a witness to a crash in Witney to come forward.
Police were alerted by the ambulance service that a grey MG convertible sports car had overturned on Downs Road, Witney, at 6.17pm on Thursday, August 27.
A man, believed to be the driver of the car, was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, with head injuries and was discharged shortly afterwards.
PC Wayne Martin said: “Our enquiries have led us to speak to a number of witnesses. But I am particularly keen to speak with a lady who stopped at the scene and helped the injured man. I believe she may have been driving a 4x4-type vehicle”
“I would ask this lady, or anyone who saw the collision, to contact me.”
PC Martin can be contacted via the Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505. If you do not want to leave your name or speak to police, call the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
A 39-year-old man, from Witney, was arrested in connection with the incident on September 12. He has been released on police bail to return to Witney police station on October 15.
