A man called police after being chased into the River Thames by a herd of cows.
The man – who has not been identified – was trapped for an hour.
He was walking along the towpath on September 9, when the herd chased him about one-and-a-half miles from Radcot Lock.
He called 999 from the river at about 5.45pm after being trapped for an hour.
A police spokesman said: “The helicopter was alerted, but it didn’t go up, because at 6.13pm the man said he was out of the river, because the cows had wandered off.”
