POLICE are searching for a teenager from Oxford who has not been seen for more than a week.
Jessany Hayes left her home in Jordan Hill to go to school at 8.45 am on Monday, September 7 but has not been seen since.
She was reported missing to Thames Valley Police at 5.35pm yesterday.
Jessany is white, 5ft 6ins, slim, with shoulder length, dyed, black hair and blue eyes.
She was wearing her school uniform when last seen.
Det Insp Chris Tarrant said: “Jessany has gone missing before, but has never stayed away from home for this long, so we concerned for her welfare.
“I would urge Jessany to contact us as soon as possible.
“She is not in any trouble, we just want to make sure she is safe and help her with any problems or issues she is facing at the moment.
“I would also ask anyone who has spoken to her in the last week or who knows her current whereabouts to contact police.”
