Businesses are being invited to a meet-the- buyer initiative in a bid to help boost the local economy in north Oxfordshire.
Organised by Cherwell District Council, the event aims to encourage firms to make contacts with public- sector organisations, with a view to securing contracts.
Norman Bolster, Cherwell’s executive member for economic development and estates, said: “This will be the first event of its kind in the district.
The event will take place at Banbury Town Hall, Bridge Street, on Tuesday, September 22, from 9am-4pm.
Across Oxfordshire, public-sector organisations spend more than £500m a year.
