Police are appealing for information after two ducks were shot in Abingdon.
Between 11pm on Wednesday and 9am on Thursday someone broke into the back garden of a property in Glebe Close and killed two ducks.
Sgt Karen Hanks said: “This is a particularly callous act of cruelty and two ducks have been killed in this mindless act. We are very keen to catch whoever is responsible.
“This incident is being treated as criminal damage and reducing criminal damage is a priority in our area. We do not tolerate any type of anti-social behaviour. I would like to ask anyone who saw suspicious activity or has any information to help with the investigation to get in touch.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Sgt Hanks via 0845 8 505 505, or if you don’t want to talk to the police or give your name, call the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
