A schoolgirl has admitted causing an accident which killed her friend after crashing her car while over the drink-drive limit.
Gabriella Edmondson, 18, of Beacon Hill, Penn, High Wycombe, pleaded guilty to a charge of causing death by careless driving while over the prescribed alcohol limit at Oxford Crown Court today.
She crashed killing 17-year-old public schoolgirl Grace Hadman and critically injuring promising rugby player Joe Robinson.
The incident occurred at 4.15am on April 7 on the A34 Oxford Western Bypass.
All four people in the Toyota Yaris were pupils at St Edward’s School, in Oxford.
She has been disqualified from driving and released on bail until October 9, when she will be sentenced.
