Sunny again but no share of the points for Radley
A strong well-organised Radley team proved a tough match for the KYFC boys who started the day top of the table.
The first game proved a tight affair, with the Radley boys pressing well when not in possession, and overall having the better of the game. A first half of few clear chances remained goalless by half time and it looked like it would need something special to break the deadlock.
KYFC scored on the break early in the second half with a flowing passing move the length of the pitch including a crisp one-two between Callum Rolfe and Ben Owen, resulting in the former coolly slotting home. To their credit, Radley battled back well, having much of the possession for the rest of the half, and turning the game round with goals from Stefan Allen and Matthew Lawrence to win 2-1.
The second game saw the KYFC boys prevail more comfortably with some fine flowing football in a 3-0 win. The first half was again goalless, although for the home side Luca Sykes hit the post and Pierce Giles had a great first time hit from a corner blocked on the line.
The second half was a different matter, with Luca Sykes matching his achievement from the previous week, by scoring another fine hat-trick. The first after a flowing move, the second following a defensive mix-up and a fine solo effort to finish off. This was, however, a fine team effort with Judahne Medley and debutant Ethan Couling pulling the strings in midfield. Radley battled hard, but could not come back, leaving a 4-2 overall victory for KYFC.
