Traffic is at a standstill northbound on the A34 near Abingdon following a major three-vehicle crash.
Police have closed a stretch of the carriageway following a collision involving one lorry and two cars between the Marcham Interchange and the Abingdon North exit at about 4.15pm.
The cars involved are a Volkswagen and a Volvo.
The woman and two small children in the Volvo are currently being cut out of the vehicle by firefighters, but police said their injuries were not serious.
No one in the lorry or Volkswagen were injured.
Paramedics are on the scene.
Officers are advising motorists to leave the A34 at the Marcham Interchange.
