A fine all-round display by Pierre Lefort was to no avail as Witney Mills suffered a two-wicket home defeat to strugglers Oxford 3rd.
Lefort top-scored with 62 in Mills' 140, Mohammed Latif taking 4-19, and then captured 4-42 to kept Mills in the hunt. But the visitors edged home on 143-8.

Kingston Bagpuize dominated at Bledlow Ridge, but dropped into the relegation zone for the first time.
Martin Shepherd hit a classy 103, Arthur Verdin 53 and Marco Cecchini 48 in Kingston’s 267-6.
Dave Pearce then took 5-49, but a defiant 103 by Dave Roberts helped Ridge claim a draw on 207-9.

Rameez Dar took 6-35 to help Leighton Buzzard Town stay top with a six -wicket win over Bledlow Village.
Bledlow were bowled out for 119 and Chris Thompson then hit 50 in Town’s 120-4.

Buckingham Town 2nd won by the narrowest of margins at home to Dinton 2nd.
Lawrence d'Silva (5-35) and Matt Thatcher (4-23) dismissed Dinton for 136.
Mike Taylor made 61 in Town's reply, but Kelvin Ripley’s 4-38 meant the game went down to the wire Buckingham won by one wicket.
Buckingham 2nd 25, Dinton 2nd 11.
Wolverton Town made 228-9 but were then frustrated by Twyford's tactics as they blocked out the final 26 overs, closing on 120-6.
