Challow & Childrey took a major step towards promotion by beating Tiddington and the wet weather to go top of the Division 2 table while their rivals were unable to play.
Rain delayed the start by 15 minutes, then Tiddington's Will Cooper hit a fine 71, but once spinner Jimmy Phillips entered the attack the game swung Challow's way. He took 5-30 in 12 overs to dismiss the visitors for 152.
Challow started slowly against Sam Hollingshead, who took 4-40 from 15 overs, but Ben Jones (68no) and Steve Burry (34) added 75 for the fifth wicket and they reached 153-5 with two overs remaining.

The only other match in the division to make much progress was at Long Marston in Warwickshire, where a late shower prevented a result in a game that could have gone either way.
Put in to bat by Sandford St Martin, Marston limped to 140-9, with 21 coming from the final three overs.
Pete Toovey (40) and Mike Lyons (37) provided the bulk of the runs, while Simon Smith was the pick of the bowlers with 5-32 from 16 overs.
Sandford were on 108-6 after 36 overs, with Chris Thompson 57 not out, when rain prevented any further play.

Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts had managed 38-1 from 8.2 overs at Great & Little Tew before the match was abandoned.
