FURTHER to my letter (Oxford Mail June 29; I don’t recognise this failing school) and the subsequent article (Oxford Mail, July 2; ‘Super Academy’ alarms parents) has anyone else made a connection between the county council’s need for a ‘failing’ school that they can then close, and the out of the blue Ofsted failure of St Christopher’s School?
I generally enjoy the cock-up theory of political and social change, although in this case I am willing to accept the cynical, planned (conspiracy) approach?
Still dazed, slightly less confused.
