THESE three gunslingers didn’t stand any nonsense – anyone getting in their way knew what to expect.
The Abingdon Bounty Hunters, armed with Colt .45 pistols, stormed into the arena at Bletchingdon fete in 1983 looking for trouble.
They quickly found it – in the shape of a bunch of brawling drunks. A few angry words and a couple of dead men later, the matter was settled.
The Wild West enthusiasts – Roger Ward, and Les and John Rumble – staged an old-fashioned shootout to celebrate 33 years of Bletchingdon Youth Club.
For Roger, it was very much a family affair.
His two sons, Jason, 14, and Darren 11, appeared in the show as scruffy boys fighting in the street, while his wife Christine, 37, played the part of a saloon girl.
