Contracters at Didcot Power station returned to work this morning following a walkout lasting more than a week in support of protests against the use of foreign labour at British industrial plants.
Between 60 and 80 contract workers involved in maintenance projects at Didcot A Power Station have been on strike since Thursday, June 18.
A spokesman for owners RWE npower said no power station staff were involved in the action and the running of the power station was not affected.
The action was in sympathy with hundreds of sacked workers at the Lindsey oil refinery in Immingham, Lincolnshire, who went on strike following a dispute over job cuts and the use of foreign labour.
