Two men robbed an Oxford off-licence by pinning the shopkeeper into a corner and making off with vodka and cigarettes.
The pair robbed the 7-Eleven shop, in Iffley Road, after one of the thieves asked to take a bottle of vodka outside to show it to his friend.
When the shopkeeper refused, the man, described as Asian and in his early 30s, left the store before returning with his friend and attacking the proprietor.
A man described as white and also in his early 30s then stole the goods from the shelves.
The incident happened on Sunday, at about 8pm.
The Asian man is 6ft, with a thin face and short dark hair and was wearing a black cotton jacket and a silver chain on his left arm.
The white man is 5ft 10in, with a fat face, short blond to light brown hair. He was wearing a white short-sleeved shirt.
