Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed in Didcot.
At about 2.30am on Saturday, a 27-year-old man was walking along Wantage Road. He stopped near to the BP Garage to have a cigarette and then carried on walking.
When he was by the junction with Manor Road, he noticed a man behind him who demanded he put his money on the ground.
The man put £20 on the ground, which the robber stole before running off down Manor Crescent.
The robber was white, aged bout 17 to 18, of medium build and about 5ft 6in tall.
He was wearing a white hooded top with pockets on the front. The top was patterned and had blue swirls on both shoulders and thick white lines across the front.
He was also wearing blue jeans and white trainers.
Det Con Dave Edwards said: “I would like to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the offence, or recognise the description of this man to contact me.”
Anyone with information which could help the police should contact Det Con Edwards at Abingdon police station via 0845 8 505 505, or if you don’t want to talk to the police or give your name, call the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
