Pupils will face a grilling as they bid for a landscape design award for their school.
Wood Green School is one of seven schools through to the finals of a competition to win a redesign of its grounds.
Pupils have put forward ideas for a makeover.
On Monday, they will come face-to-face with judges of the Grounds for Optimism competition to try to sell their idea.
The competition has been organised by the Solent Centre for Architecture and Design.
