Ofsted inspectors are investigating a nursery school and its staffing levels after receiving a complaint.
An Ofsted spokesman said: “We can confirm we have received a complaint about Cherry Tree Nursery.
“We cannot comment further at this stage.”
Tanya Field, chairman of the parent-run nursery in Headington, said: “Our staff/child ratio is kept under review and, following a recent Ofsted visit, we heeded their advice and have taken account of the recommendations in setting our staff/child ratios.”
